Matt Callahan

Matt has been the co-founder of a number of venture capital backed companies and is a former senior resources, oil and gas lawyer with operational experience. 

Matt was the founding CEO of Dimerix Bioscience and Cortec Systems (now known as Xelor Software) both of which were backed by Foundation Capital and other venture capital funds and in respect of which he has transitioned his role as CEO of both companies to new management. Matt is the founding CEO of US nanotechnology company iCeutica Inc, which is currently scaling up a process for manufacturing pharmaceuticals in a GMP environment for generic and NCE compounds.

Matt was formerly the General Manager of listed technology commercialization company QPSX Limited (now Ipernica ASX:IPR) with responsibility for the company’s global patent assertion activities as well as venture incubation.  He has extensive experience in intellectual property licensing in both assertion and technology transfer arenas. 

In 2002, Matt was awarded an inaugural Business News ‘40 under 40’ award. Matt is a co-founder and executive director of Stone Ridge Ventures.
