Kath Giles is a medical doctor with experience in the commercialization of new technologies within the biotechnology industry. 
 
Kath started her career as a doctor at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, rotating through a number of medical and surgical specialties before entering the private system as a surgical assistant and commencing an MBA.

During the course of the MBA, Kath was top student of a number of units and the overall top student over the first 8 units of the MBA.  It was during her studies that Kath also commenced work as a project manager in a biotechnology company, where she gained broad experience in the commercialization of medically focused technologies.

Kath is an investment manager at Stone Ridge Ventures - Western Australia’s leading technology venture capital firm.
